Creative Arts Center
Located in the former 3rd Police Precinct near I-75 & Vernor Avenue near the foot of the Ambassador Bridge in Mexicantown, the Creative Arts Center is an example of how a nonprofit developer, Southwest Housing Solutions, with a vision can transform a derelict property. The property was acquired in September 2009 with financing assistance from DDF and is now home to Detroit Farm & Garden and 555 Gallery.
